Pyramix 9.1.6 and RME MADIFaceXT

I am unable to use this interface at all with Pyramix. I get an "unable to init ASIO" driver error, and the programme won't start at all.
On the same laptop, I can run ProTools 11 and SADiE 6.1 using the same ASIO driver, at sample rates up to 192kHz.
Does anyone have any experience with using this interface successfully with Pyramix 9.1.6?

Hi David,

Ah - you've hit the dreaded 'Clock Bug when using interfaces with large IO count'.

Before launching PMX, make sure that the RME interface is set to 'Internal Clock'. Once PMX is fully open with a project loaded you can switch it back to other clock of choice and it should work.

If this doesn't work you may also need to check with RME to see if a previous driver version works better. Merging and RME are both be aware of the issue thanks to Tim Martyn's persistence.
