Wont Play with Fireface.

Postby studiorecording » Thu Feb 03, 2011 23:32

Very often Pyramix wont play.
The transport shows play but the time line wont move.
Sometimes I update 1394 in the device manager and after a reboot it will work.
Then it will stop again.
If you have ideas I would appreciate advice...

We need way more information about your system before anyone can answer your questions effectively and concisely.

Hi,

I would mainly check the status of the Fireface Settings and make sure that the Sampling Rate & FPS and Buffer Size matches the Pyramix project and settings. Have also a peak at the VS3CtrlPanel buffer size reported.

I use the FF-800 home for personal stuff and I've also been through this. Power cycling the FF is also a common thing on some configurations, at time connecting or disconnecting inputs makes it drop out, check this out for more tips... http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=73334

Regards,
Ricardo
