Re: Tics in Record for Santa Rosa MBP/PMX 6.2 SP2 combinatio

Rick: Yes, I set the Mizer settings in the nVidia control panel already--not sure if I mentioned that! I'm interested in the low buffer size to decrease latency for classical recording when I am in the same room--for example when at a concert. As long as I'm 20 feet or more back (or to the side of t...

Re: Tics in Record for Santa Rosa MBP/PMX 6.2 SP2 combinatio

Graemme and Rick: Yes I am killing Bootcamp.exe in Task Manager on boot. Also Appletimesrv.exe and AppleOSSmgr.exe. I'm wondering if I should unload the APCI drivers in System section of the Device Manager as well? Graemme, I believe that we are running the same machine MBP 3,1 Santa Rosa. Does your...

Tics in Record for Santa Rosa MBP/PMX 6.2 SP2 combination

I apologize for the length of this post, but I have been working on this for a few weeks now and wanted to give as full a picture as possible for your consideration. I have just upgraded to PMX 6.2 SP2 with Windows XP Pro SP2 on a Bootcamped Santa Rosa MacBook Pro. (Bootcamp 3.2 with Snow Leopard) I...

Re: Is anyone running PMX 6 bootcamped using Snow Leopard?

Thanks for all your replies. I've almost got it running on XP Pro SP2 but I'm having tic problems. I think it probably should be another thread as it is more specific. If I can't get it running under XP2 the next step is to try XP3 so thanks for the posts regarding setup with SP3. The new post is ti...

Re: Is anyone running PMX 6 bootcamped using Snow Leopard?

Thanks for the replies. How did you both get SP3 on your systems? I have the Install disks for XP SP2 and Bootcamp wouldn't let me upgrade using the Microsoft SP3 download from their site. Can you still buy MS Install disks for SP3? Is the only way to do it via the Internet with automatic update? Al...

Is anyone running PMX 6 bootcamped using Snow Leopard?

I have been having trouble with an ASIO driver for 003R interface. It may be because I am running XP SP2 not 3. To upgrade to SP3 I need to install a new version of Bootcamp (I'm currently running Beta 1.3 and the assistant has expired). It occurs to me that I may as well take the bull by the horns ...

Problems with Standalone ASIO Driver version 8 for 003R on P

I am posting this in both the Pro Tools and Pyramix forums as the driver is an Avid Digidesign driver but the problem actually occurs when using Pyramix. I’m hoping both forums will forgive the ‘third party’ flavor. I recently upgraded to Pro Tools 7.4 for Mac. This is running fine on this platform....
