Hi!
I have been using it for a few weeks(ish) with PMX8 and I can´t say that it has caused any problems in my setup. Might be a V7 issue?
And it does sound good on some material, I agree.

Re: PC config / turnkey components
I have been in contact with Merging and they are testing a few new motherbords but it might be a while until the results are out. Just finished building a new computer for Myk board/Masscore but I have not had the time to test it yet. The board is an Asus p8q67 with Intel i7, will let you know how i...

PC build : motherboard
Hi I am planing building a new computer with the soon to be released Ivy Bridge cpu. The recommended motherboards from Merging will not be compatible with Ivy Bridge : DP55KG/W and P7H57D-V EVO uses socket1156 (not IB compatible), the DQ67SW is one of the few 1155 socket motherboards that will not s...

Re: AAF Problem
I can report that I have been having the exact same problem today. Working on a movie with 100+ audiotracks and we are importing many different AAFs from Logic and the tracks gets thrown around and does not keep there original grouping. Looking into it as we speak and I will report on what we (hopef...

Inserting plugins in mixer without rebuilding. In large projects the rebuild takes forever and really slows down the workflow.

Stability issues with adding more RAM on dualboot?
Hello I have a plan and I need some feedback : I want to create a dualboot between Win7 32 and 64 bit OS. Let´s say I add 8-12 GB RAM, will this make Pyramix MassCore (running on 32 bit) unstable or will it function as normal. I know Windows will only see 4 GB, the question is how MassCore will beha...

Re: MD5?
Hi Per You have to use a standalone program for MD5, Win7 (or any other Windows) does not have this feature incorporated. There are several free MD5 checksum programs, can´t remember what I have used before but Google will get you there. In another MD5 thread in here someone suggested the Sonoris DD...

Re: PMX ASIO and Pro Tools 9
Hi Per and others From what I have found the PMX ASIO does not communicate that well with PT9 and I have been told that a combo setup will not work (this info is not from Merging though).. This kind of setup would be a dream come through and I hope that the ASIO gets an upgrade. My PMX is hooked up ...

PMX ASIO and Pro Tools 9
Hi!
Anyone tried running Pro Tools 9 with the PMX ASIO or know if this is even possible? Sometimes clients come to my studio with Pro Tools sessions and if I could run PT9 on using the Mykerinos as an interface it would make my life more easy.

Morten

Automation gone wrong
Hi
I am having some problems with automation : if I activate the write or read buttons ALL the faders reset to zero db...?
Using PMX V7 (not the SP1?) and have deleted all the automation-data that was in the session. Still getting the reset faders.
What am I doing wrong here?
Best,
Morten

Re: CD with music and data
Hi Per, happy new year to you too! I have done this before but can´t remember each step but once I had all the info I needed it was not that complicated. As I recall you need to change some settings in DiscWrite (the mutisession: TRUE), burn audioCD and then add your datafiles in Nero or other progr...
