Re: How many of you here,
Haven't had any trouble recording even large multitrack files (64 tracks) since 2002. Except for one time where I got really upset. One of my students sucessfully opened a plugin in the mixer during a live recording and the recording stopped without notice! I remembered the very useful keyboard lock...

Hi again, It seems to me that all was well in v.4.2 on our system (we have edited a 16 track 44.1 recording from v4.2 on the laptop). Jakob, did you go back to 4.1 because 4.2 wasn't cutting it or just for extra safety? Thanks, Silas Hi Silas, I mainly went back to 4.1 as I recognized that the syst...

Re: Lost seconds in recording
[quote="Silas"]Has anyone experienced this? I was surprised to not get any playback stalls or Host PCI response errors, or any message of any kind...not even a click in the monitoring (I was using headphones). I'm assuming that 12 tracks of 24.96 was just maxing out this single card system...

Re: Need help with corrupted WAV-multitrack file
Hi all, a colleague asked me for help with a file, that was recorded in Pyramix in WAV format. The recording engineer forgot to activate "one file per track" before recording. So we have one 19 GB file which contains 46 tracks. What file exactly is this "multitrack"-wav file ? They tried to import ...

Re: Fade Editor audition glitches
Hi, When using my keyboard shortcut for audition fade I occasionally (1 out of 10 times) will have the left channel delayed. Re-auditioning fixes it. HOWEVER about 1 out of 20 times I get what sounds like full scale digital noise in a short burst out of the left channel instead - the kind of noise ...

Re: multiple clip selection in grouped clips
Hi, I'd like to be able to select multiple clips with ctrl + shift in a group...or in a group and non grouped combined etc... Hi, I'm solving the problem by using the shift button and the left mouse button on my grouped or ungrouped clip. BUT press the mouse before pressing the shift button and the...

Hi Benoit, I'm using Madi-coax between ADC, Pyramix and DMX. To avoid the wclock on long distances, I run the ADC as Digital Master, Pyramix syncs to Madi (Audio Input) and then sends a "short" MadiWordClock to activate the DMX. Works ok. Why don't you run the SIU as Digital Master and let Pyramix s...

Cursor should jump back when deleting take
Hi, in a recording session, I sometimes decide to delete some recorded takes. After that the cursor stays on the last stop. Then, I always need to replace my cursor to the last starting point. I think it's reasonable to let the cursor jump back automatically as it's like an undo function. My second ...

Re: Mixer in Record path
Hi all, there is a workaround which may blow up your mixer depending on the amount of tracks you're willing to record post fader - but it works. Open an aux bus on the strip you want to record post fader and turn fully up the send knob. Assign the aux bus to any internal bus. Open a new strip and as...
