Re: Improve the Gain Envelope Editing

Just to add, does any one find it impossible to even grab a level handle when you have a steep envelope and zooming in just doesn't really help. Quite frankly I find the Protools version of this quite hard to work with, but there some good ideas in both systems. SO.... also having a way to increment...

Re: recommended CD Burner

Thank You Graemme for the good news!
I can wait a few days to hear the news, My old Plextor's are wearing out and the Light-On is hanging in there, I may get as many as 4 of them if they test well.
Is there a good integrity testing software for the Samsung?

Oh Yea!

Striptools Sidechain Input.

Having a sidechain assignable striptools, so one could filter the input to the expander, limiter. maybe as an internal buss input would be the most versatile, for me just having a second EQ of filter would help allot, but some may want to have different program going into the limiter KEY input, of E...

Re: compressor sidechain

What's next?
Well everyone that feels having a sidechain assignable striptools, (let's let Merging figure out a good way to do this) maybe as an internal buss input would be the most versatile.
Please bring it up in the suggestions forum.

All the best!

Re: compressor sidechain

I noticed no one has responded to this thread, I have been wanting to talk about this subject for a long time, thank you for bring it to my attention again. I feel it is very important to have an easy to use sidechain so one could filter the compressor or gate in strip tools or just have a filter tu...

Re: Effects Sends

Hi Silas! When you create a aux send then turn it on, turn the volume knob up you still don't get anything out of the send, you then have to click on the little routing pad and un-mute that then enter a "0" for unity gain just to get out to the master aux fader, and you have to do this for...

Effects Sends

I posted a topic and no one replied. So I ask in PMX 5 do I have to not only turn on an effects send but also when I un-mute the routing of that send I have to type 0 for unity gain on every send, this takes forever when I need to set up a headphone mix, this was not an issue in PMX 4.3 I also don't...

Effects send routing

I'm wondering if anyone has had this issue with the effects sends in PMX 5... Is there a way to set the level in the routing level window, globally. When I have effects sends I have to click on the routing, it is always default at -144.500 db, I want to simply set all of these to unity gain, I can't...

Something I forgot

I forgot to mention you have to type the numbers that are in the cursor display window into the start time in the CD list, you only have to type the different numbers not the whole time code.

If you want to re sequence and move CD markers with the clips you have to use the CD list, just put your cursor where you want the clip and look at the cursor position with resolution set to (CD frames in the pull down menu) it will move all the other tracks after that clip, and if you want to re se...

CD Burner

Hi Guys: If you look in the Pyramix user manual you will find a list of the supported drives for that version of PMX, all the versions work very well with the plextor drives, make sure you check the plextor sight and get the latest firmware update too, some of the old firmware versions don't support...
