Greetings,
You might also consider that this could be a storage issue. Funny things can happen when volumes get near capacity.

Disable Quickmount?
Greetings,
Is it possible to disable the quickmount feature? PMX seems to either hunt for any previous Quickmount files or caches previously-used files so that it is impossible to import new versions with the same or similar name. This behavior is driving us mad!

Yes. Thanks again, Roland. I could do this–except that we do not place extraneous edits in a project. We are creating archival masters for preservation and production masters for the creation of deliverables, and the edits we place are only those that happen as a result of a stop and re-start in the...

OK. Here's my work-around until someone offers a better idea. I place markers at all CD stop and start marks. I import the 2nd CD into a new project using XML import by replace. I offset the start of the newly imported 2nd CD by the amount of the first–making sure I'm on a CD frame. I then import th...

Append CD onto another CD
Greetings, I have two projects, each containing a CD. I wish to append the second CD, marks and all, to the first CD. I've tried importing XML by appending but that doesn't do it. I've tried importing XML by insertion and that doesn't do it. Why can't we simply cut and paste audio and all marks at o...

Project creation and mount/save
Greetings, When creating a new project, one is asked to navigate to mount a destination. After having mounted the destination, one is asked to re-navigate to that same darn destination in order to save. WTF? If I didn't want to save the project in the folder I mounted, why the **** would I mount it ...

A preference setting for waveform display?
Greetings folks, I almost always want to use autoscaling(alt+0) and dynamic waveform(View menu item). It would be nice to not have to select these attributes for every single project. I don't know if there's any advantage to not having them selected–such as processing power conservation, but I haven...

Can't delete CD Stop Mark
Hi folks,
There just has to be a way to delete a CD Stop Mark, but for the life of me I can't figure-out how. Shift+Alt+Delete doesn't do it. Why not?
Thanks!

Adding Marks and Renaming Markers a bit dicey. Mouse or me?
Greetings all, I have noticed that one must be particularly careful when dropping and editing markers during a recording. It seems like the general Windows OS interface twitchiness makes this operation tricky–much like other OS operations such as browsing and selecting a drive to mount and other sim...
