No. You would only have one take number per take, but you may have many takes per soundfile name. The differentiator is the take number. You specify a name in one field, a starting take number in another field and then it increments that take starting number, leaving your soundfile name untouched. D...

Unintelligent Take-Name Behavior
Greetings,
Please correct this silly behavior.
We use catalogue numbers as our project names. Pyramix invariably grabs the trailing digit in the project name, assumes it's a take number and increments it. This is unacceptible. We cannot have _software_ making production decisions.

Markers Window
Merging should consider making the Markers window auto-scrolling so that one doesn't have to manually scroll down to see the markers one has just created. One only has two hands and limited screen space, after all.
Thank-you.
Thank-you.

Not at all, Tim. Thanks!!!! I did finally discover which set of shortcuts and macros were loaded by trial and error. Things are back to "normal" now, but it would be good to know how and when different sets are loaded; whether globally or on a project or template basis. Right now, global shortcuts m...

Need to grok the Shortcuts and Macros editors etc.
Where to begin?... When I started working on this Pyramix 3 months ago, there seemed to be some Sonic Solution type shortcuts and macros loaded and I added a couple myself. Of course there were others working as well besides the Sonic imitations. I exported the keyboard shortcuts and Macro table to ...

What version is this?
Greetings all,
This may seem trivial to some, but would it be too difficult to label the Merging site downloads with the specific version number? That way we could tell when there's an obviiously-new version available instead of struggling-along with the obsolete one.
Thank-you!

That makes perfect sense to me, Alexander, especially since you are incorporating previously-recorded material. No argument there. Our work environments are all very different. I'm for making it easy to work the way that suits each individual best. That's what was so great about Sonic Classic. There...

Aha! As a matter of fact it _does_ have a switch which I hadn't noticed before. I tried the switch to attempt to make it behave as before, but nothing happened. Maybe I'm doing something else when the behavior presents. Will have to keep an eye out. BTW, is anyone out there using a WACOM tablet with...

Scroll of track view causes playback
Greetings, We use a Microsoft 2-button mouse w/thumbwheel. When we use the thumbwheel in conjunctionwith the alt key to scroll the track view horizontally, after one or two scrolls, the track begins to play. This can be annoying when you have just carefully-placed your cursor where you wanted it. Wo...

Sure. For instance, if I go directly to the New project dialog/Mixer Wizard to create a new workspace for a project, part of that process creates a folder that you are asked to name and automatically also creates a folder within that folder for Pyramix Media. All done. I have tried to streamline the...

Icon mask too small
This is not just a Pyramix issue. It applies to Windows in general, but since we have no influence on the OS, I would like to suggest that Merging pay a bit more attention to the size of their icons and the accurate masking of same, so that it doesn't take such precise clicking on an icon just to pe...
