Re: Melodyne with Pmx 9.1.8 64?

I think that with ARA is much flexible and easy, but if it works well as a plugin too, that´s good news.

I´m still on V7.1, so I can´t really try it as you can.

Boa noite para si também Dom Bernardo :D

Re: Melodyne with Pmx 9.1.8 64?

Hi, Yes, it works fine in V9.1.8 and V9.1.10 for me with ASIO driver and Pyramix Native 64 / Windows 7, Dom Paulo. :) Best regards, Dom Bernardo Hi Dom Bernardo, I think we´re talking about diferent things. ARA means Audio Random Access and it´s an SDK from Celemony that allows a more integrated wo...

Re: Melodyne with Pmx 9.1.8 64?

Does Pyramix support ARA already? Just curious, as I´m still stucked in V7 and not aware of the in-depths of V10. Thanks.

Re: Album Publishing still frustrating

Album publishing wasn't originally intended for projects like yours. Agreed that it needs to become 'extensible.' Right off the bat, I'd like to see a 'Mix, Split by Groups' aspect to the mixdown window, similar to the 'Render' version and it would include automation. It would be useful to hear fro...

Re: Merging Emotion Music Server Beta - updates?

Thanks David, I had seen those already. Yes, that´s the concept I mentioned for a small media center. A good USB DAC and an external drive (or NAS) and it´s a simple and effective setup, at least for music. I´ve been watching this as well: http://www.asrock.com/microsite/Beebox/ On the DAC side, of ...

Re: anti-virus/anti-malware with Pyramix?

And on top of what Bernard said, I always have my antivirus disabled when working, plus the network connection. When I need to update or connect to the net, I simply connect and enable the anti virus.

Re: Offline Loudness Meter?

Hi Frank, you may find my answer a bit weird, but taking into consideration you don´t want to spend much money and basically want to analyse files and eventually correct them offline, there´s a module in Reaper that does what you want with log files included. The disadvantage is that you need to ope...

Re: Anticipating an Upgrade to v10

I am not keen on the cloud idea. This firmly places unpredictable control with the company. I feel it would be perilous to rely on, despite what all the big software companies are saying about it. David Spearritt Classical and Acoustic Music, BNE, Australia When I refered cloud, I did it purely on ...

Re: Anticipating an Upgrade to v10

Paulo, One person's 'great feature' is another's 'I don't want to pay for that!' There is no simple answer for all users. Neither does Merging have the deep pockets of an Avid or an Apple... Graemme Graemme I fully agree with you, no doubts that everybody has diferent needs and ideas about new feat...

Re: Anticipating an Upgrade to v10

In general I´m not in favour of annual maintenance payments. Call it the fancy name you want: ASM, Apple Care, AVID support, whatever, it´s just a means of subsidising in advance, features that in the end may or not fulfill your expectations or needs. So, if companies want to keep their user base in...

Re: Windows 10

Great to know it´s working fine. Does anybody running Masscore, had a try with win10 as well? Hopefully as win10 requirements are relatively simple in terms of computer power, on par with win7, I hope I can still install my old Pyramix V7 Masscore on it. Providing we get RTX for win10 that is. EDIT:...

Restricted to 32 bit OS yes, but where did you get the info that it won´t work with WIN 10? Can you please clarify that statement?

Re: Windows 10

Hi, Maurice Engler from Merging said me that they could not test the compatibility of Pyramix 10 with windows 10 because Windows 10 is not out yet, and it will take time. For cons, I do not know if Pyramix V10 will run in 32-bit? Best regards, Bernard Not out yet but other DAW manufacturers already...

Will Pyramix 10 run on Win 10? Will the beta stage of PMX10 consider this? Thanks
