There is no plan to port EasyConnect in Linux. Regarding ANEMAN, this could be but this is not yet planned.

Re: Talkback button behaviour request
Thanks for your comments. I confirm that the next firmware update will includes the Talk button following options: 1 Non-latching 2 Latching 3 Auto-latching (will be the default) Moreover we plan to make the Talk button blink in order to improve the "talking" visibility. Merging Technologies

Ubuntu 18 libcurl issue
The Butler is dynamically linked to libcurl3. By default Ubuntu 18 installs the version 4 of libcurl. Here is a way to install libcurl3 on Ubuntu 18: # Install libgconf-2-4 with apt-get: sudo apt-get install libgconf-2-4 # Then add a mirror to the list in /etc/apt/sources.list, E.g deb http://securi...

Re: Hapi and deamon
The first thing to check is the incoming HAPI RTP stream status coming from the ALSA.
Please refer to the following doc under: "Session sink" - "RTP Status" availabe here https://confluence.merging.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=33260125

Re: ALSA driver does not have mmap capability
I confirm that our ALSA driver has no mmap capabilities. And this seems to be required for Jack ans some DAW. We have multiple requests for mmap support. This become the number 1 feature request.
Thanks for you feedback.

Re: Ravenna client for Linux (pulseaudio or jack)
Horus and Hapi are based on a FPGA implementation. There are not any ALSA drivers in these devices. This said, we are working on an AES67 ALSA driver and we are close to finalize. There will be an annoucement once finished. In the meantime, if you are interrested, you can contact us at aes67[at]merg...

Re: REWIRE & ASIO BRIDGE in PMX 7
Can you point me in the direction of any further information (link?) on 'AppleMidi' and how it actually works? The best is to refer to that web site: http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/rtpmidi.html Also, is there an ETA for Pyramix 8, and will it support 64 bit? ETA is end of this year (we curr...

Re: REWIRE & ASIO BRIDGE in PMX 7
Just to clarify why Cubase does not work with Pyramix in Rewire mode : To have two softwares communicating in Rewire mode, one of the software must be in "Mixer" (host) mode while the other is in "Synthesizers" mode. Cubase and Pyramix both implement the "Mixer" (host) ...
