Window udate warning

Hi Since upgrading to 14.1 I've been getting a pop up warning saying the system is not configured upon merging's recommendation and a internet page opens saying how to defer updates. Looking at the computers update history I cant see what it is referring to but the mystery is compounded by another m...

Blacklisted Plugins

Hi Having installed some new VST plugins a rescan revealled a list of blacklisted plugins in red. This is frustrating as the items refer to some audio software neither used by or related to pyramix. This software has subsequently been reused and even with every kind of rescan the blacklisted plugins...

Re: Wav file metadata not showing

Frank As ever the font of all knowledge! Thanks! Never knew that window was there! Yes that function does indeed display the info i want but its next to useless in this context. The info can only be displayed on a single file or clip basis and this information is forgotten once you move onto the nex...

Wav file metadata not showing

I've been sent some wav files as the basis of a project. A lot of them! When I open these files on Windows media player, foobar, sadie, sequoia, etc. In addition to its file name there is also a file title, in reality its the CD text that's become embedded in the file. in fact the files were even cr...

Pro Tools Export

Hi

I'm not a protools user and have been asked to export a project as OMF to import into Protools. I notice you can import OMF pyramix but not export. I guess there is another format that might work for them.....There's lots and lots of files so it would be good if i can oblige.

Thanks

Re: Auto Monitoring 11.1.6

Hi Frank It was unfortunate that this was the first project I opened after the 11.1.16 upgrade, Its not something Ive experienced subsequently so its plain bad luck. I reported it to merging who were very intrigued but didn't pursue it beyond logging it. Could be as you suggest no record destination...

Auto Monitoring 11.1.6

Have I lost the plot or is auto-monitoring behaving differently or even has a bug since I upgraded from 11.0.1?

With Auto-monitoring selected a track no longer plays back if its record armed! I'm convinced it used to? I have European monitoring selected in preferences.

Thanks

Re: iZotope RX6

Thanks Frank Forgive my hurried, bad English. I'm pretty new to Izotope and purchased the new RX7 to remove some ventilation hum from a concert and I am seriously impressed. For coughs, mobile phones, etc I've always used Cedar Retouch which of course is directly available from the Render window. I ...

Re: Collapsing tracks shortcut

Hello Frank, Sorry its taken awhile to get back I seem to post a question and find myself working away, Thank you. I didn't want to offload too much information about the whys and wherefores but assume all the preferences you mention, auto solo, which track collapses etc have been correctly and prev...

Collapsing tracks shortcut

Hi I'm trying to build a Macro that includes the function of collapsing tracks within a given track group. There seem only two ways of doing this, the +/- box on the left of the playlist or the yes/No dialogue on the track groups Editor tab. I don't believe its possible to incorporate either into a ...

Noise reduction

happy new year Does anyone have recommends for noise reduction software, Pyramix plugin or standalone. I have a concert marred by acoustic lighting buzz. I use Cedar Retouch all the time for removing coughs, thumps and mobile phones but clearly that not the tool for constant background noise. Having...

waves plugins

Hi Will waves plugins work with Pyramix? Silly question? three of us have spent the best part of the morning trying to get pyramix to see a multiband compressor. Scrupulous about scanning the right VST path. Before anyone suggests a waves installation or licencing issue Reaper picked up aforesaid pl...

Re: Alternative Time code display

Thanks

I feel like the dunce in Math class. In the "Origin in main scale" dialouge how on earth do you enter a negative value. I give up!

Thanks
