Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone has used Altiverb with Pyramix (Masscore) and if so what their experiences were?
Cheers,
Richard.

Hello, A popular location for music gigs at the moment is St. Lukes in Islington. It's a deconsicrated church. Sounds and looks good. Room behind it to park a recording truck, for instance. If you need more information, contact me directly - richard@2ndsense.co.uk I can put you in touch with booking...

Hi Charoo, and welcome to the forums (and Happy New Year!) I'll try and answer some of your questions - and I'll try to be brief here, as I feel your questions probably need more detailed answers, which are perhaps your local reseller can help with? 1. I'm not sure what you're asking here. Yes, PMX ...

... I tend to create a couple of return paths with tracks and strips to allow sub-mixing in this way. I then put clips of silence on these tracks (if I don't need to record the subs), so that the automation has something to glue to should you do any edits. To monitor I have the tracks in e-to-e mode...

Following the ESATA external drive thread, I've bought a couple of Wiebetech Siver SATA enclosures, which are great. A RAID array over two SATA drives in removable trays, with USB and ESATA connectivity. We've just done a 48 track remix at 48K off one of these with no problems at all. And the great ...

Hello, It works for me (with CD's that are likely to be in the database of course!) I find that if I select all tracks before hitting query database, that helps. Not sure if you have to do this, but I always have! My logic: The database works by matching up the sequence of tracks and their trackleng...

AAFs again
Hello all, I've just worked on a lengthy project where the editor experimented exporting an AAF of the session. To my shock, it worked fine! The only thing that was "missing" was any envelope information. I might be wrong on this point, but I thought one of the advantages of the AAF format...

...oh and another method that might work. Import your OMF into a 44.1K session. In the media manager, select all the media and do a quick convert to get the media SRC'd up to 48K (or consolidate to another media folder) Make sure all the 48K media is in another folder (one way or another) and then f...
