Merging Technologies

Hi,

Vcube can output 6 channels of embedded audio on Xena's SDI output.

However, I've seen on AJA website, that the card is 8 Channels embedded capable.

Would it be possible to get this feature in a feature release ?

if needed, a friend of mine sells two MB3 boards, with or without keys ( postpack+aphro verb), with ADAT or AES daughter board....

It's just the same product as the one you can find on the minnetonka website.

In fact you have to mixdown in pyramix, et get the 6 files inside the minnetonka stand-alone software, for processing.

for the moment, it only works if pyramix and Vcube are installed on the same computer....

Hopefully one day Pyramix 'll push the sequence to Vcube via Virtual transport....

just quit and relaunch pyramix "solves" the problem.... just a workaround

But hell, i paid more than 450€ (Shocked) for that QT player key, why is it so unusable??? Mad Don't know, but at least it should be a free option. But you surely know that there are some others keys at merging which don't worth some hundred of dollars ( It seems to me that you tried PT5 import.......

Hi maikol, :wink: Sorry, but I never use quicktime player because of: - The price - Quicktime don't work really well on windows ( unstable, no overlay .... ) You should just get a key for quicktime pro, so you can export your QT files as AVI and use them with DS video player, which is much more soli...

you can play AVI files with divx, mjpeg, mpeg... codecs, thru the APVe vidéo out.

you can use both on the same pc, at the same time.

Just take care to use the last OS in your mixing board, last usb drivers and last studio manager, otherwise you should get some bugs ...
