Re: Clipgroup editing issue
Two thoughts. 1) Are you editing the same number of tracks together? If there is a different number of tracks on either side of the edit, the face editor will not work. 2) have you trimmed the ends of the tracks so they are the same length? If there are any gaps between tracks, the face editor will ...

Re: Can I use a power strip to solve my problem with the US NEMA 5-15 Plug Power Cable?
Hapi has a switching mode power supply and will work with anything from 100-240v 50/60Hz. Just get the appropriate power cable for your region and plug it in. Hapi are usually supplied with the plug for whatever region it is being delivered to, but any normal IEC power cable will work. All the best,...

Silas,
I've been using Stratus in 7.1.4 with no issues... just not in DXD.

Re: Hapi powered on 24/7
Walt,
I've had 2 Hapi and a Horus for our 3 studios powered on for about 5 years. As long as the basic safety issues like heat dissipation are managed, we've had no issues.
All the best,
Mark

Re: Video playback issues in v25
Mike,
What kind of video file are you working with? Is it a ProRes/DNxHD or H.264??
I've never had any luck using H.264, the inter-frame/Long GOP compression gives random time shifts and Masscore overs.

Re: Exporting multichannel PMF to stereo BWF
My quick and easy way is to: Do a save as and name it "Project Name" Stereo". go into tracks tab and delete all tracks except the stereo tracks. If you want tracks in the original sample rate and bit depth: Select all, File>Render (Ctrl+W), Choose Selection (split by groups). Click Re...

Re: DSD Rendering vs Mixdown Test
Mark, thank you for taking the time to sort this out. That's some first-rate advice right there. And Album Publisher means a huge step in efficiency, too. Thanks, great! What still seems difficult from an newbies perspective is dBSACD . The source material in my test project is peak at -1.2 dBFS Wh...

Re: DSD Rendering vs Mixdown Test
a) When using Rendering "Generate Master" > "SACD Edited Master" (DSDIFF) > "DSD64" > "DSD Rendering" the outcome is a file with peak -54.9 dB and no waveform modulation or audible audio whatsoever. The render only works with DSD media. It bypasses the mixer ...

Re: Control W renders slipping and causing tic
This is a Cedar issue. If you move the splice point over a few samples, the click goes away. Happens on all the 64 bit versions.

Re: Computer suggestions
David, I agree with Graemme, with native being single thread, it doesn't make a lot of sense to spend a lot on a computer. Are you running any merging hardware? if so then Masscore is a great upgrade in performance. Here is the link to the validated PC hardware with configuration guides. https://con...
