I am still running 4.3 on 2 systems. One of my Plextors is acting flaky and I need to replace it. What can I replace it with?

Has anyone been able to try AVOX Throat VST plugin? I have tried to use it in it's 10 day demo mode. It opens in PMX ok but and can't seem to get any sound through it.

Any Ideas. Seems like potentialy an interesting plugin.

The warranty here is 12 months and the unit is over that by about 6 months.

My Plextor Premium just went blewy and they don't repair them. Since that beloved drive isn't made anymore, from what I understand, are there any recomendations for a replacment? Plextor DVD burnner?

Also if a segment happens to be highlighted somewhere else down stream it will not go into record until it reaches the highlighted area. Apparently highlighting takes precedent over the in and out points.

I found that just making sure the DRC button was enabled fixed the bug.

WinMPG Video Convert at www.winmpg.com is a great little converter. We use it all the time for converting .mov to .avi.

We have switched to Norman Anit-Virus and Norman Ad-Aware. They are a little more expensive but are a lot smoother and less cumbersom than Norton. But I agree, don't hook up to the internet with your work machine. Get a USB memory stick for any transfers you need to do with your internet machine.

In thinking about this I realized that you really don't need the waveform.

If you have the little peak meter open on the track and it is showing input, and you are laying down red, that's all the confidence you need.
