Disc Write Says No
In the Disc Write program, out beside the times of each track is the word "No". This is in the Copy column. What is this for and where is it changed should we need to? Any help would be appreciated. - Jef and Jim

Still hoping for further elucidation
I have gone back and re-confirmed that CD text is appearing on some CDs produced in Pyramix 4.2.6 but not others----does anyone else have additional ideas as to why this may occur in some cases and not others?

Still seeking info
Graemme or Pyro I know that I am still using 4.2.6 but have actually had success with CD text appearing in some of my CD masters but not others----what I am still trying to figure out is if this is a hit or miss thing in 4.2.6 or if there is something I am doing that allows it to appear sometimes an...

Names of tunes appearing on CD
I realize this may a dumb question but sometimes when we run masters from Pyramix we get the tune names to appear whenever we play the CD back on a computer-----other times only Track 1, Track 2, etc. shows in the Windows Media Player. We think that we are doing the same thing everytime when we set ...

Extra long CD image creation times
Recently we have gone from a normal CD image creation time of about 4-6 times real time to about real time. And we do not have the real time box checked. Can anyone explain what may be going on? Have we inadvertantly done something to cause a problem? Please advise as this is a real time killer

Hi Silas As you know I will find most problems before anyone but on this one I have not been able to recreate it----since I use the audition button though most of the time I can't say if it is a real problem or a phantom one---I'll keep trying to use the keyboard shortcut and see if it ever occurs O...

Playback stalls getting to be a drag
Within the past three or so weeks we have started to have random playback stalls on all our drives that house and playback PMX projects. About once every other playback of a project. Since we typically use outboard gear for some processing we have to play back (re-record) in the tracks and entire pr...

Source-Destination oddity(s)
Two things: First: when placing a section of audio from source 1 to destination a funky fade-in section that was blank was added to the front end of the source audio----I was finally able to delete it by ungrouping it from the audio, but wondered what might have caused it to begin with so it can be ...

NOVA and selective undos
To all:
Is there a way to "selectively" undo a render where NOVA or any other processing has been employed without eliminating edits or other edl changes that followed that command. If not, might this be a possible suggestion that has merit for future software upgrades?

Genex/9000/PMX
Silas, We now own 2 9000s and they function quite nicely. We are doing all our base recordings in DSD and making a PCM conversion along the way. i understnad from Kevin Brown that the next software release expected soon will allow for a DSD to PCM conversion internally within the 9000. I hope to wor...

clicks and pops generated by rendering in pencil tools
Question: Has anyone experienced an added click or pop being created when using the Pencil tool for drawing out an existing pop or click. We are having this issue when we remove what appears to be a digital click from a specified region. We find that drawing out the original noise causes yet another...

Digital clicks when using the Pencil tool.
Question: Has anyone experienced an added click or pop when using the Pencil tool for drawing out an existing pop or click. We are having this issue when we remove an "anomoly" from a specified region. We find that drawing out the original noise causes yet another to be added to the same region. Th...
