Hey Silas We have an Xsan environment (around 10TB) here and we are using it for our Video storage. We have integraed Pyramix into this using gig-e...works fine so far. Will explore the fibre options for connecting the PC to the SAN directly, but the cost doesn't seem worth it..the bandwidth require...

I'm running PMX Native v5 (media bundle) and everything seems perfectly stable. The drive is partitioned FAT32 for Windows and HFS extended for OS X so that I can move f...

We tend to use Wavelab for batching large numbers of files....or if it is MP3, we have a drop box on a linux server ...

i'm not in frint of Pyrmaix at the moment, but I'm pretty sure the export (or quick export) function in the media manager allows you to choose a path.

thanks Pyro

I think they need to do it in Bonn....the guy is involved in the Paralympic comittee. They would also like to shoot the interview (Beta SP or DigiBeta)...but have had no luck finding anyone.

So if you know a studio in the city or a production crew, let me know!

thanks

We have had various funny import issues with the Sonic Import tool. The only time we have had 'no soudfiles' in Pmx we have traced back to the original sonic file not being correctly restored from the AIT tape on our 5.3.2 SonicStudio rig. i.e the file does not play in sonic either! Another thing th...

Korngold and Harmonia Mundi

Hello all This is more of a generic question as opposed to Pyramix...but we are working with some musicians recording the 7 song cycles of Erich Korngold...and they have shown us a similar recording made by Harmonia Mundi (Dietrich Henschel)...and it sounds quite nice. I am curious if any of you hav...
