Re: Upgrade
Did that, hence posting on here to ask what Merging's position was or if anyone could shed some light on the question....I'm also being told I need to pay extra for MassCore which I don't need having an MYK card.....

Upgrade
What's the Company position on upgrading?
I looked at moving from PMX v6 to PMX v8 but was told I needed to purchase the V7 upgrade first which I baulked at. If this is Merging's position then I presume it would be cheaper to just buy V9 outright rather than buy the 7, 8 & 9 upgrades.....

VST Crashing in PMX 6.2sp2
I've installed the FabFilter plugin set and can add an effect to the mixer (strictly 2 channel CD Mastering) however, when I try and add a further VST plugin PMX crashes each and every time which is a pain as I want to use more than one plugin. I recall reading about VST bugs that were never resolve...

Mykerinos driver for windows 7?
I'm trying to speed up my machine which has 6.2 installed and have tried and SSD main HD using Windows 7 32-bit but I cannot install/find the driver for the card so it's just listed in Device Manager as a PCI Simple Communication Controller? Where can I find the driver? 6.2 SP2 runs under Win7 32bit...

Re: new version ?
Then WHY aren't merging a bit more truthfull about when it's going to be released? If it's going to be two months that's fine, but don't say it's going to be two WEEKS! If I told a client the job would be ready in two weeks and THREE MONTHS later there's no sign of the product it doesn't look good d...

Being Able To Edit Whilst Recording
It would really speed up my workflow if I could be editing something in the timeline (even if it's basic top & tailing) whilst recording new clips later in the timeline.

Re: DDP?
On the subject of CDR's, you can still get hold of the premium plextor drive if you look around. We have a Clover CD Verifier and i've had years of experience checking discs for errors. Always use discs from Taiyo Yuden for masters, they do make discs for others but most reputable companies will sta...
