Re ordering CD
Slight frustration when changing the order of a cd - any fades that go over the track makers get cut. Would it be possible to have a button that keeps each file as it is and just puts the audio files on top of each other with their fades intact? Would save alot of time and frustration!

Performing edits on new versions of a song
When mastering alternative versions of song it would be great to be able to set a sync point in the original and new version and then ask Pyramix to do all the same edits and fades that the original version has. Would save quite some time! Maybe even automatic setting of sync points as the files are...

Re: MD5
We are also using a separate MD5 program - but as CRC32 checksums are already supported I hoped it wouldnt be too difficult implement.

MD5
Not sure if this is more of a Gear issue but would MD5 checksums of the DDP folder´s contents be possible with Disc Write? Most plants I send to prefer MD5.

Time for a new machine
Seems like its time to replace my trusty hard working PC ready for version 7. Does anyone have any comments as to whether this would be a compatible setup? Re: Exporting cd file
Hi again, A year on and Im still missing this kind of functionality. Would it not be possible to add a box in generate cd image to generate individual files instead? This could lead on to the option of bit depth, sample rate, file type (wav, aif,mp3?) and file naming (auto generated from an user sel...

DiscWrite for a client
Just tested DiscWrite on a separate PC to my Pyramix rig. Want to allow clients to proof cd´s that I send as DDP´s. Seems that I can only open a Pyramix cd image not a DDP fileset. Would my clients need the Merging DDP key for this feature? Or is it possible to include this in a future version? I kn...

Thanks

Exporting cd file
Would be great to have a simple way to export a pqed cd to individual files, in 24/16bit bwav or mp3) to deliver to clients who want to check individual songs on a cd. I know i can change the image file to .wav, but this is a 16bit file where all the tracks are together. Would be nice if there was a...
