Hi Silas, Thanks for posting that. I wonder when it was dated. I thought for sure that waiting 3 months before installing a new release would mean all the bugs were reported/known. Or am I in the unlucky minority, along with Jon? I guess I'll be rolling back to 5.0.22sp3 which has its unpleasantries...

'Out of memory' problem: disappearing project

Hi all, I recently upgraded to 5.1.13sp3 from 5.0. Tonight I was editing my first project and after about an hour of editing I got a prompt saying 'out of memory' or 'memory low' or something similar. The prompt asked me to save, quit and reboot to free up some memory. I had saved repeatedly as I wa...

Re: xfades too

Are you all sure that it doesn't work on xfades too ? It is on my system. Well this is what I was referring to.....on my system Ctrl-F10 is 'apply default in and out fades', and Ctrl-F11 is 'apply default xfade'. There's an important difference.....if I apply 'default in and out fade' to an edit I ...

Hi, I was not refering to Xfades(cross fades) but to normal fade ins and outs. For example, you have some clips on the timeline and want to apply the same fade in to all of them. If you save a fade in as a user fade in and then select all clips/load fade in, it does not work. The same applies to fa...

Hi Ricardo, This is great news! I'm with Kees in that I can't see a use for the current behavior but I have no objection to having it as an option. Regards, Steve Hi all, This issue/improvement is already present in our Database, known as MT000787. We'll raise the priority for it. Good news, thank y...

Re: Auto-Scale Waveform, different scales per clip ?

Is this normal behaviour, is it a bug, or have I overlooked a setting in the preferences ? It's old bug. Auto Scaling must scale all visible clips proportional, not every clip individually. Bug or intended behavior, it drives me crazy that this is going on. I do a lot of audiobook editing/mastering...

MP3 support?

Hi, I frequently have to generate mp3 files and I would really like to do this without having to boot up another program which has this capability, in my case Sonar or Wavelab. I'd really like to see mp3 as one of the choices in the file conversion menu of the Media Manager. I've used the Merging ut...

I'm disappointed that this issue was not fixed for v5sp2. It is extremely annoying and in my opinion one of those things that makes Pyramix feel 'cheap'.

TDC, FWIW, this happens to me too but it seems to be inconsequential, ie, it doesn't adversely impact anything. What is a problem for me now and then is that pressing ALT results in Pyramix getting stuck in 'zoom' mode. I have to press ALT again to get it to release zoom mode. And I'm using a Logite...

Re: A preference setting for waveform display?

Greetings folks, I almost always want to use autoscaling(alt+0) and dynamic waveform(View menu item). It would be nice to not have to select these attributes for every single project. I don't know if there's any advantage to not having them selected–such as processing power conservation, but I have...

I agree with Avi, this is a loss of functionality for me. The last thing I did in v4.3 before creating an image was to make sure the cd markers were in the right spot (and weren't moved accidentally) by navigating to all of them in the CD tab, and using the space bar to start and stop play. Quick an...
