Hi Ricardo,
Okay. I will try that. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply Graemme. I have ver 5.0.12. I have also got the latest version of ASIO drivers for the sound card. The M-Audio Fastrack Pro is not mentioned on the Merging site but I assume that the list there is not comprehensive. I know for a fact that it is compatible with ProTools M-Powere...

Pyramix in Evaluation mode- issues
I am evaluating Pyramix and can't resolve a couple of issues: 1. Audio stutters when I used M-Audio Fast Track Pro USB card ASIO drivers. BUt no problem with DirectX drivers other than latency. 2. Only the first mixer strip routes output to the Stero bus. Are these limitations of Pyramix in Demo mod...

separate outputs
the pyramix mixer offers any number of tracks to be routed to any input strip. however, if i want to output each track on to an individual channel on an external console how can i achieve this?

music recording/editing and tempo maps
I have been studying Pyramix for a while now and am considering getting myself a system. I will be using it for music recording/editing for which creation of a tempo map (or a grid at the very least) is an absolute necessity. I have just scanned the 4.1 user manual but I was unable to find any refer...

HDTDM bus
Since Mykerinos uses the HDTDM bus, does this mean that HDTDM plug-ins such as those used for ProTools HD may soon be available for Pyramix? That would be something!!

Benoit, I tried exactly what you suggested and it works but i was looking for a slightly more elegant solution. I have, in the past, used analog consoles which have aux return strips. These are identical to the standard channel strip but with limited functionality. Some even hav aux sends on them :w...

Re: Aux returns
There is NO aux return in PMX, you have to create it as a Stéréo Input and then it is automatically routed to mix bus and if you want to all other busses. So your reverb can either be a physical one (like in analog desk) or a virtual one. I don't see the difference with hardware desk ??? Fred Well,...

...your dealer should check out the book before demoing stuff he obviously doesn't know much about. Route the output(s) of your aux-bus to any internal bus(ses). Take any existing strip or create a specific one as an effect-return, select the concerned internal busses channels as sources, activate ...

Aux returns and the Stero Mix bus
During a demo with the dealer I asked him to set up a stereo aux channel and insert a reverb effect on it. We were monitoring the mix thru the Monitor jack. This i assume is derived from the stereo mix bus. This, in turn, is derived from the sum of all the input channels. However, we were not able t...

Re: Firewire drives
Thanks, Roland. I would really be needing that many tracks for editing music tracks. Mostly ProTools projects. I don't think I will require more than 48 for other stuff. Anyone tried importing a ProTools EDL directly into PMX? How does it deal with disabled tracks, tempo maps and TDM plug-ins? Silas...
