Re: Pyramix App won't open/run
Hope you've had luck getting past this since you posted it some time ago. If you do still need help, is RTX core installed correctly per Merging's installation instructions?

Re: Xeon - Not supported ?
There's an entire support site with a subsection specific to computer hardware specifications: https://merging.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PUBLICDOC/pages/4817980/Computer+Specifications. You'll note some older hardware and operating systems listed in many cases, like graphics cards. This is because M...

Re: Loading Mixer snapshot during record
In a word, no. The mixer (in v14), if the system is recording, won't respond to a snapshot dropped on it; record must be stopped. The snapshot rebuilds the mixer. Perhaps drag and drop shortcuts no longer work, but you can use mixer presets. There is no need to drop out of record. Store by right-cl...

Mixdown distortion
Hi, There is a project I have been working on lately in which everything I mixdown has nasty distortion which reminds me of aliasing and misaligned DAT machine mechanisms. The mixdowns are of mixed variety - many of them at the 24/96 project sampling rate, some "knocked down" to 16/44, lik...

Re: Hapi with ADA8S - routing question
I have not used an ADA8S yet so I can't comment on whether it is possible. However, I can direct you to Aneman, which is where you would do it. See you if you can assign the input to its corresponding output. You can assign the input to more than one output in Aneman so you are not limited there. He...

Re: Loading Mixer snapshot during record
In my workflow, I am saving the mixer memory for each piece and recalling these mixers following applause while the transport is stopped. But every once in a while, I find there are two pieces on a live concert program with very different instrumentations or buss levels, played without pause. In tho...

Re: Offset removal for album publishing
After adjusting all of these settings, it's unfortunately still there. View -> Display TOC in the CD/SACD tab is the only place I see the 2s. I'm on the latest version on this system.

Re: Offset removal for album publishing
Thanks Frank, It's showing no offset: https://i.postimg.cc/qhkbrWBs/Pmx-CD-tab.png But these were not zero-d out: https://i.postimg.cc/fSy8tX9k/PmxCD2.png Now they are, so hopefully that will do it. Thanks again. Cheers, -Charlie P.S. You should probably have the nickname "Pyramix manual supple...

Offset removal for album publishing
Hi,
Is there a way to remove the two second offset in Album Publisher? I'm generating files, not creating CDs, but it still comes up no matter what.
Cheers,
-Charlie

Re: Which ASIO interface do you use ?
https://www.minidsp.com/products/usb-audio-interface/u-dio8 +1 I had been using my Hapi for editing and mixing, but it's often packed up for remote recording sessions. This little box (and it is small) slots right in, giving me all the AES I/O I need for post work. And it's 100% pain-free. Thanks G...

Re: Line Out/Direct Out on new ADA8s cards
As you've discovered, these are not the same as the cards with direct outs. With the AKD8D/AKD8DP (the "D" near the end of the model means direct out), you're passing audio before it hits the converter, which makes for a true backup. If you want the ADA8S/ADA8P (and the original ADA8 versi...

Yes we have known about this for months. viewtopic.php?f=14&t=14464
I would have hoped it would be changed back in 25 but evidently not.

Re: Is there a Sample Rate Limit on the AES/EBU I/O D-Sub Interface of HAPI/HORUS
Yes DOP is very handy when available. This is the only case I've heard of using an AES connection, though. Usually it's over USB or network connections. Maybe it's proprietary.
