How do you save the settings (plugin chain mostly is what I'm interested in) of a single mixer strip, so that it can be loaded on a strip in a new project?
Just the single strip, not the whole mixer.
Can't seem to find this in the manual or by poking around the mixer. Thanks!

Pyramix with integrated Dolby Atmos tools - in the pipeline?
The announcement of Logic Pro X 10.7 with integrated Dolby Atmos tools has got me thinking about what the plan may be for Pyramix and Atmos. It sure would be slick to have full Atmos authoring built right into Pyramix, without the need for the Dolby Atmos Production Suite running on a separate Mac a...

Re: Merging SILENCE Turnkey pc
Hi Nikolai, thanks so much for these details, its very helpful to see actual examples of working configurations.
I'll just add that my fanless i5 system as described above has been flawless for the past 6 months.

Masscore latency and VST plugins
There's precious little info available about the nuts and bolts of of Masscore performance in real world tracking applications, so I'm hoping some users can chime in here with their experiences. My day job is mastering, where latency doesn't matter. But I've taken on a side project that requires me ...

Re: Merging SILENCE Turnkey pc
I've ordered the ASRock Z390M Pro4 and an i5-9400 for now. If I can make that work I may try a full blown system with a Z490M and an i9-10900 (with thermal riser).

Re: Merging SILENCE Turnkey pc
Hi David, thanks so much, this is really valuable information. If I may pick your brain a little further about your system: - which ASRock motherboard are you using, and which cpu? - are you using the onboard ethernet, or the Merging NET-MSC GBEX1? Any other gotchas to be aware of when switching bet...

Merging SILENCE Turnkey pc
Any Pyramix users here with a Merging SILENCE Turnkey pc? i'm wondering how silent "silent" actually is? I work in an extremely quiet mastering room, so no fans allowed. I'm currently using a 2018 Mac Mini, which is quiet most of the time but the fan still ramps up when running Album Publi...

A Merging / Pyramix roadmap
It would be really helpful to users if Merging would lay out a bit of a roadmap for their future software and hardware plans. I've seen hints of things to come such as multithread processing in Native, a MultiASIO and WDM driver, and rumours of new hardware. Giving users some info about whats coming...

Re: Mounting Folders, Why?
When I first started using Pyramix I was baffled by the folder mounting thing. Now that I'm used to it I find it really helpful, especially for complex projects which may reference a bazillion files spread across many locations. Having just the relevant directories mounted keeps things tidy, relieve...

Add post SRC gain setting to Album Publishing file names
Can we please get the option to add the post-SRC gain setting as one of the available file naming tags for Album Publishing? It would have to be specific to each file format generated to be useful. Maybe default to leaving it out if there is no gain change, and add it in if there is a non-zero gain ...

Hi! Try step 1 from this! https://confluence.merging.com/display/PUBLICDOC/MT+Cleanup Thank youI I had good luck with retrieving most of what I need from " C:\Users\<USER NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Merging Technologies\Pyramix" The one thing I have not found is the keyboard shortcuts. Surely w...

Retrieving Pyramix customization settings from a dead OS drive
I've got a Win 7 drive that will no longer boot. The Pyramix installation on this drive has a lot of desktop layout customization, special key commands, album publishing settings, and so on that I would love to retrieve somehow. I unfortunately did not do any intentional saving or export of these se...
