VST plugin sub-menus

Postby rathammer » Mon Feb 27, 2017 12:10

would it be in everyone's interest to simplyfy the plug-in submenus?

I personally would prefer that only plugins fitting the chosen channel generally appear in the dropdowns, allowing for the 2-channel / 8-channel sub-menu structure to be eliminated. This additionall menu-tree makes my mouse-pointer hover through 3 layers of sub-menus just to insert a simple filter.

When selecting a plugin, I feel like on a rollercoaster, frequently dropping out of the menu and having to start scrolling again because there are so many sub-menus.

Seems to be so much quicker and less fiddly in Pro-Tools... And even better in Nuendo with the search-capabilities. Time to catch up?
