Laptop/SSD ?

Postby DanGeo » Wed Jul 22, 2015 20:26

I am looking for a laptop to have as a backup to my native system as well as being able to do some work on when I travel.
Most of my audio post projects are under 20 min. and about 10 tracks, but there is usually very intricate editing on a few of those tracks with many files referenced.
And on a mix I am usually using 8 - 10 or so plugins. Recording is not an issue it is all playback.

Does anyone have a suggestion of laptops to look at?
How are SSDs for the data files? Not sure how their speed compares. Any real reason to RAID SSDs?

Thanks for any help.
