Re: Multi CPU Support
Hi,
The MassCore multi-core support option is only available with MassCore SMP key.
The key will enable the VS3 Control Panel option for Core allocation, to enhance the MassCore engine performance.
Slider allows the user to choose the repartition of Cores.
This will benefit the VS3 plugins rather than the VST's in such case. With a lots of VST you are most probably better of with the standard MassCore as you will have more VST cores (under windows for processing). With very large Mixers and VS3 plugins you can benefit from the MassCore SMP.
Regards,
Ricardo

Re: Multi CPU Support
Hi Ricardo,
I am currently using single CPU 6 core 12 threads, with SMP keys option purchase. CPU load will up to 75 % with large movie mixing projects core peaks will occur.
Thinking of upgrade System to Multi CPU? Will Mass Core with SMP support such system?

Re: Multi CPU Support
This is a problem with masscore in v11. On systems with more than 8 logical cores all vst's get routed to a single logical core. Also, you can not allocate more than 6 logical cores to masscore.
This why we haven't upgraded our production systems to v11.
All the best,
mark
