Billing software

Postby Perfect Record » Tue Aug 21, 2012 18:02

Time for me to change the billing software I use.

I do my own billing. All the billing packages I'm looking at are more complicated than my business requires. What are others using for recording or mastering studios?

Quickbooks with the Paypal plug-in (lets me take credit cards very easily.)

Finally tried the demo of Grand Total. Very efficient at creating an invoice, plus you can make your invoices look beautiful.

If I had the time, I should switch to Quickbooks Pro, but it's really overkill for me. But I would like to have the credit card processing.

A little follow-up on the Paypal plug-in for Quickbooks: It doesn't work well with Win 7, only XP. I've tricked it for now (cut and paste the preview window contents) but I'm on the lookout for another solution that doesn't involve paying Intuit any more money than I have to.
