Starting new file while already in Record

Postby DJS » Sat Apr 07, 2012 01:39

I like to record small clips, so one for each movement or song or piece being recorded. I cannot find a way of starting or initiating a new file while already in Record mode. Is this possible. I don't want a macro to stop and restart recording because bits will be lost.

This has been a feature request that I have been asking for for 8 years.

Right! We need to lobby the team hard on this. It is a fundamental requirement for classical music recording and already available in many other DAWs. It's not a complicated modification.

Who do we write to or petition?
