recall snapshots while playing/recording

Postby Daniel Keinath » Wed Mar 23, 2011 04:14

I am missing the possibility of recalling mixer snapshots from a library WHILE in playback or record. This used to work in earlier versions but it does no longer in v6 or v7.
Pmx seems to enforce a mixer rebuild every time you try to recall a snapshot. This shouldn't be necessary. At least, if there are only level changes to be applied.
This becomes a serious issue on all kind of live mixing especially since many external controllers do not provide a stand-alone snapshot function. But it would be useful on mixing and mastering as well.

btw: recalling a mixer snapshot by doubleclicking it in the library would make things even easier. Dragging it to the mixer (which might be hidden) is redundant as only one mixer exists.
