save settings of vst plugins to Library?

Postby Daniel Keinath » Sun Mar 13, 2011 06:14

Saving a snapshot of the entire mixer by dragging it into a library is no problem. Doing the same with just the settings of a single vs3 plugin (e.g. parametric eq) isn't a problem either. But is there any reason why it is not possible to drag a vst-plugin into a library? Probably not, since all vst settings are saved within any whole-mixer snapshot.

Hi Daniel,

I completely agree. We should be able to save a snapshot of a VST too. More than that, I would like to be able to snapshot a selected strip/bus plugin combination. That would allow frequently used VST/VS3 plugin combinations to be loaded into any strip/bus very quickly.
Best regards,
