Indicator for Currently Selected Playlist

Postby fl » Sun Nov 30, 2014 20:20

I work with Playlists a lot, and occasionally I lose track as to which one I am currently "in", especially if I've made a few Copy playlists. It would be really handy if, in the pop-up menu which appears when clicking on the Playlist icon in the Track Header, the currently active Playlist could be indicated by either shading, highlighting, or by a check-mark beside its name. Similarly, in the Playlist Tab, if the currently active Playlist for each Track Group could be selected, or highlighted, or have its name displayed in italics...

always a problem for me too.
Would make this feature much better usable in Pyramix. Otherwise I prefer staying with ProTools if I need to work with Playlists.

It would be especially beneficial if any changes made to upgrade the Playlist functionality could be provided for those of us who, like me, are running systems with pre-fourth generation Intel processors, which result in the inability to install Pyramix v. 12 or later. If I'm going to be running 11.1.6 until I can afford a new computer, I'd still like to - someday, whenever it becomes available - have the currently active Playlist indicated in some way in the selection pop-up.

Perhaps a small .msi to modify an existing Pyramix install?

(Well, I can hope, can't I?)
