Remote control with web browser application??

Postby OlleGrane » Sat Nov 08, 2014 01:16

I think I dreamed this, to the point where I believed it was reality. Searching the Pyramix 9 User Manual doesn´t resonate though....
Only thing I can find is that it´s possible for one Pyramix system to control another one, over IP.

So every other program has an app to remote control faders, transport etc.
I thought I read somewhere that Merging was going for a web browser application that would be generic and thus, you´d be able to remote control Pyramix from any device with a web browser application and network connection. Be it wifi or ethernet. Be it a tablet, smartphone (well, just about any...), laptop etc.
This would be so much cooler than a dedicated app for a select set of systems (read iPad).

Anyway, I´ll continue to try and get my Neyrinck V-control to work with Pyramix (in the same smooth way it does with ProTools) ...

was it that you can control Horus through a web browser? that's certainly possible. using an iPad is also supposed to be possible. it's not the same as Pyramix control though.

Right, that's it!
Thanks Charlie!
So I did imagine half of it...

Well Merging, this is your cue, will you pick up the challenge?!
