Dear Merging Customers,

The Merging Technologies Development Team is pleased to announce the HotFix release of Pyramix 11.0.6, Ovation 7.0.6 and VCube7.0.6 Builds 5378
These new versions include the support of Windows 10 Fall Creator update (1709), along with the latest Meltdown and Spectre updates (for Windows 10 & Windows 7 SP1) .


The Pyramix 11.0.6 HotFix version contains the following fixes

General:
- New MassCore version (RTX64 v3.3.1) supporting the Windows 10 Fall Creator Update (1709) along with the Meltdown and Spectre Windows updates
- MSC-42: Fixed. Pyramix MassCore random freeze under some Windows 10 configurations
- HEL-586: Fixed. Pyramix crash at startup with BMD MiniRecorder
- HEL-527: Fixed. Open valid path for templates using the 'New from Template' function
- ANM-241: Fixed. Improper application closure can cause connections to disappear (ANEMAN & Easy Connect)

Import & Interchange:
- PMX111-54: Fixed. AAF Import Rendered Fades issue with non-embedded AAF
- HEL-372: Fixed. AAF Multichannel medias do not relink
- HEL-430: Fixed. Issue with Adobe AAF that are imported in Pyramix
- HEL-541: Fixed. MXF Imported file with wrong index table caused Pyramix freeze/crash

Editing & Automation:
- PMX111-124/PMX111-125: Fixed. Random Crash or Freeze while editing
- PMX111-137: Fixed. Editing crash, due to media reference issue
- HEL-547: Fixed. Pyramix could crash in cut-paste-undo with video files
- HEL-574: Fixed. Pyramix could crash when undo tracks add/remove/move
- HEL-515: Fixed. Modifying the automation mode not reflected on the plugins automation
- GAIA-1418: Fixed. Automation - VST to end not working in some circumstances

Mixing:
- HEL-388: Fixed. Native Mixdown non-realtime clicks (MXF Handler issue)
- HEL-529: Fixed. Surround Channel options choices in Mixer and Configure Page
- HEL-557: Fixed. Potential crash when removing strip or bus if Meter Bridge was enabled
- HEL-575: Fixed. Potential crash if EQx or Angudion II plugin GUI are open in Mixer and FX Rendering simultaneously
- GAIA-1201: Fixed. The Mixdown default filename is now the Project name (until changed)
- Fixed. Mixer: Tooltip combo boxes enlarged in Configure page
- Fixed. Mixer: VST windows size mismatch issue

Processing:
- GAIA-1144: Fixed. Converting surround DSDIFF caused channel swapping
- HEL-560: Fixed. SACD Cutting Master Import issue with Areas of different length
- HEL-504: Fixed. FX Rendering VS3 plugin UI closes when preview or render
- HEL-505: Fixed. FX Rendering preview issue when clips are not on contiguous tracks and matching channels types
- HEL-618: Fixed. Avoid duplicated names for some VST plugins (e.g. b<>com)
- HEL-617: Fixed. FX Rendering Altiverb XL VST Plugin didn’t allow multichannel setup
- PMX110-199: Fixed. FX Rendering crash if enabling SRC to deliver higher output sampling rate
- Fixed. FX Rendering: Delay compensation for preview and Pre and Post handles issue

Misc:
- GAIA-543/1160/955: Fixed. Hovering over file path should show the entire path name in all windows
- HEL-548/GAIA-1057: Fixed. Import dialog will keep and recall the last action
- GAIA-1146/HEL-518: Fixed. VT2 - Save VCube composition, default setting changed
- Fixed. Korg controller "nanoKONTROL2" supported in MackieControl and HUI mode
- Fixed. Mounting Rules support for -L, -R suffixed files

- Easy Connect remains installed with Pyramix for those who wish to use it, see release notes for details. Be aware that you cannot run simultaneously ANEMAN and Easy Connect, but rather one or the other to avoid conflicts
- Pyramix 11.0.6 HotFix uses a new MassCore version. It is necessary to remove the previous Pyramix version, if there is one, from the Windows Programs and Features, and then reboot your system before installing Pyramix v11. Unless you are planning to update to Windows 10 Creator (1703) or Fall Creator (1709), in which case MassCore users must follow the procedure document

- At the Pyramix 11 install you might have a “Bonjour” pending and other Microsoft requirements to install. Please proceed with those installations and afterwards the Pyramix installer will start. Once Pyramix is installed and MassCore installed from the MT Security> MassCore Tab it is Mandatory that you reboot your system.
- If you are not successfully installing Pyramix 11.0 at the first installation on Windows 10, restart your system and launch again the Pyramix 11.0 installer, as some pending requirements might have been installed in the first place.
- Pyramix Default Templates are now located under C:\ProgramData\Merging Technologies\Pyramix\Templates
- The VCube 7.0.6 HotFix is in sync with Pyramix 11.0.6 HotFix and should be installed along it on a combo system. Merging highly recommends that you evaluate the Video playback support included in Pyramix 11.0 before installing VCube, it might do just what you need.
- The Flux plugins V3/VS3 series come as a separate installer. Users should install the latest Flux available version (currently tag as Pyramix 10/11 in Flux Center): https://www.fluxhome.com/download

WARNING: The VCube users running on 32bit OS with Mykerinos will have to remain on VCube v5.1, since Mykerinos is not supported under 64bit OS. Please consult your options as per the VCube configuration page.
- Merging recommends that users remove the previous version of VCube installed on their system prior to installing VCube 7.0
- You might be warned of pending requirements at installation please proceed and install accordingly if so
- For the Blackmagic design Video Cards installation please follow the VCube Release Notes
- The VCube configuration is configured through the VS3 Control Panel
- Users with Pyramix and VCube installed on the same system, must upgrade Pyramix to v11.0.6 HotFix to go along side VCube v7.0.6 HotFix.
