The Merging Technologies Development Team is pleased to announce the HotFix release of Pyramix 11.1.5, Ovation 7.1.5 and VCube7.1.5 Builds 7859
These new versions include improvements and bug fixes.
The Pyramix 11.1.5 HotFix version contains the following fixes
- General:
- PMX111-279: Fixed. Some misleading message box titles
- RAV-829: Fixed. PTP domain fixe for devices connected to MSC, potential glitch when a device starts
Mixing:
- PMX111-193: Fixed. MassCore Hosts inserts avoid un-necessary delay
- PMX111-257: Fixed. VST3 plug-ins with processing delay reporting latency when turned off
- PMX111-258: Fixed. Plugin UI not coming on top of current one if open in Mixer
- PMX111-259: Fixed. Some VST plugins (such as Melodyne) are not connecting their routing when used in a Mono context
- PMX111-260: Fixed. Changing a channel type from the main mixer page does not notify Effects (VS3 or Native) with new layout
- PMX111-275: Fixed. Automating VST2 such as "La Petite Excite" plug-in causes random freeze of the User interface
- HEL-755: Fixed. Dynamics VS3 plugin noise in AES67 (48smp) mode
- HEL-762: Fixed. UAD VST plugins: parameters names not displayed properly - regression
- Fixed: Standard Bypass parameter of a VST3 Generic Editor not refreshed when bypass from the DAW (mixer UI) with automation Off

- PMX111-266: Fixed. Random Mixdown crash (due to automation issue)
- PMX111-285: Fixed. Automation of Native plugins do not follow the strip mode at project reload
Authoring:
- PMX111-280: Fixed. PMI files audio length is not guaranteed to be CD frame aligned (could glitch on last tracks e.g. DDP)
- PMX111-269: Fixed. TOC display in editor incorrect due to Unix mode
- Fixed. Album Publisher: file version and copyright updated
- Fixed. DSD EM TOC negative Timecode offset issue (marker ignored / track)
- Fixed. Added Open file Location to the right click menu of a file item in the Album Publishing Process Dialog list control
- Fixed. Edited Master cannot have 2 markers for same Timecode fixed.
Misc:
- PMX111-267: Fixed. “Not Enough Streams available” error with some Native Packs
- PMX111-270: Fixed: Playback to mixer channel counts re-defined

- Pyramix 11.1.5 HotFix uses the same MassCore version as Pyramix 11.1.4. It is necessary to remove the previous Pyramix version if you were running a Pyramix version older than v11.1, from the Windows Programs and Features, and then reboot your system before installing Pyramix v11.1 please follow the Pyramix v11.1 Installation Guide for all details.

- At the Pyramix 11 install you might have a “Bonjour” pending and other Microsoft requirements to install. Please proceed with those installations and afterwards the Pyramix installer will start. Once Pyramix is installed and MassCore installed from the MT Security> MassCore Tab it is Mandatory that you reboot your system.
- If you are not successfully installing Pyramix 11.1 at the first installation on Windows 10, restart your system and launch again the Pyramix 11.1 installer, as some pending requirements might have been installed in the first place.
- Pyramix Default Templates are located under C:\ProgramData\Merging Technologies\Pyramix\Templates
- The VCube 7.1.5 HotFix is in sync with Pyramix 11.1.5 HotFix and should be installed along it on a combo system. Merging highly recommends that you evaluate the Video playback support included in Pyramix 11.1 before installing VCube, it might do just what you need.

- Merging recommends that users remove the previous version of VCube installed on their system prior to installing VCube 7.1
- You might be warned of pending requirements at installation please proceed and install accordingly if so
- For the Blackmagic design Video Cards installation please follow the VCube Release Notes
- The VCube configuration is configured through the VS3 Control Panel
- Users with Pyramix and VCube installed on the same system, must upgrade Pyramix to v11.1.5 HotFix to go along side VCube v7.1.5 HotFix.
Merging highly recommends that you consider the Video playback support included in Pyramix 11.1 before installing VCube, it might do just what you need.
