Delivering A short Film mix for theatrical playback

Postby tas » Tue Dec 03, 2013 11:52

Having no surround capabilities at the moment I created a mix on normal L/R Stereo.
What are my options here and what can Pyramix offer me encoder wise?
My understanding is that in order to be on the safe side, my best option is to do an LtRt encoding.
What I am not sure is if the decoder will place my centre panned dialog to the C channel, or will it just route to L R? Will this sound really bad?

Also what encoding options do I get with VCube? Will the Dolby E encoder do the job?
