Build your own portable Pyramix DAW with network RAID option

I just finished building my own Pyramix 11 DAW with network attached RAID option. The unit is portable and quiet as humanly possible. I thought I'd share the hardware.

Fits in Odyssey 12U case.

Network attached storage 20TB RAID Computer:
Motherboard: Asus Z270-A
CPU: Intel i7 7700k 4.2 GHz
CPU cooler: Noctura NH-D9L
Memory: Corsair 16 GB16GX4M2B2800
SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 500 Gb
SATA Expansion: SIIG 4-port SATA card SC-SA0R11-S1
HDD: Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB (for Linux swap space)
HDD RAID: 6x Western Digital WD40EFRX 4TB
Chassis (4U): iStar D406SE-B6BK-BK -- six hot-swap drive bays, plus a bunch of other hidden drive bays
Power supply: Corsair AX1200i
Operating system: Linux 17.04
RAID: MDADM

Pyramix Computer
Motherboard: Asus Z270-WS (this is real important because it has 2 NICs)
CPU: Intel i7 7700k 4.2 GHz
CPU cooler: Noctura NH-L9x64 (fits in 2U chassis)
Memory: Corsair 16 GB16GX4M2B2800
SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 250Gb
SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 1TB (use as fallback for NAS RAID)
Chassis (2U): iStar E-20/350W
Power supply: Included
Software: Windows 10-Pro

Monitor:
Acer T272HUL (27" 2k touchscreen)

Network switch:
Netgear JGS524PE managed switch configured as ports (odd) = VLAN-1, ports (even) = VLAN-2

UPS Power supply:
Cyberpower 2150VA

Merging:
Horus + a few cards
Primary use 8-16 channel DSD-256

Network Wiring:
Windows NIC-1 + RAID on VLAN-1
Windows NIC-2 + Horus on VLAN-2
