The Merging Technologies Development Team is pleased to announce the HotFix release of Pyramix v10.1.4, VCube v6.1.4 and Ovation v6.1.4 HotFix build 31117

The Pyramix 10.1.4 HotFix version contains only the following fixes
HotFix Bugs resolved:
GAIA-1287: Fixed. Playback of MXF XDCAM HD NSTC files generates clicks in audio
GAIA-1266: Fixed. MassCoreNICsrv sometimes not starting properly
GAIA-1263: Fixed. UI MtVideoWrap problems (freeze, display, progress bar un-readable)
GAIA-1245: New. Added MTLog to the Media handlers of mxf and mov (for debug purpose)
GAIA-1244: Fixed. Pyramix MXF D10 wrap issues due to processing order
GAIA-1241: Fixed. MXF D10 media file errors and communication inter-processes Pyramix <-> VideoWrap
GAIA-1240: Fixed Metadata missing fields or wrong value (Name & History)
GAIA-1235: Fixed. Pyramix 10.1 (evaluation mode) crashes when clicking on a Track Strip assignation
GAIA-1212: Video Overlay display adjustable size of display option
GAIA-1196: Fixed. MT ASIO Bridge IO not always visible in the Routing page
GAIA-1179: Fixed. Random crash when closing DXD projects
RAV-646: Fixed. MXF RDD09 compliance problem
Fixed. VST hosting: 384kHz sampling rate not notified to plugins

Pyramix v10.1.4 HotFix Build 31117

This new Pyramix 10.1 version includes the MassCore support for the Intel Skylake processors along with new features, improvements and bug fixes.

INSTALLATION:
WARNING: Pyramix v10.1 requires v10 Keys. If you have not received your keys yet please verify with your Merging local sales partner
WARNING: The Pyramix v10.1 is only supported under 64bit OS so only a 64bit Pyramix installer is available, 32bit OS are no longer supported as of v10
WARNING: As of Pyramix v10.1 a new MassCore version must be installed. Refer to v10.1 Installation Guide for all details
WARNING: Pyramix v10.1 projects are not backward compatible with Pyramix v10.0 use the new save Special as v10.0 in order to open such project in a v10.0
WARNING: Pyramix v10 project using the new Busses structure cannot preserve the new Buses when saved as a Pyramix v9 Project and opened on a v9
WARNING: Flux VS3 Users must be on the latest Flux for Pyramix v10 in order to use them along Pyramix v10.1, the plugins have to be updated through the Flux Center utilityhttps://www.fluxhome.com/download
WARNING: Controllers: TANGO I and II are supported under Pyramix v10. Refer to the Release Notes for all details
- Pyramix v9 keys are not valid with Pyramix v10
- MassCore Users that have a Pyramix version already installed must follow the v10.1 Installation Guide for all details
- HASP dongles are not supported under 64bit, users must purchase a SafeNet dongle in such case
- At the Pyramix v10.1 install you might have a “Bonjour” pending and other Microsoft requirements. Please proceed with those installations and afterwards the Pyramix installer will start. Once Pyramix is installed and MassCore installed from the MT Security> MassCore Tab it is Mandatory that you reboot your system.
- Users that need to run Pyramix and VCube on the same system configuration should be using the integrated playback Video feature new to Pyramix v10.1
- The VCube v6.1.4 HotFix in sync with Pyramix v10.1.4 HotFix so should be installed along it on a combo system.

- The Flux plugins V3/VS3 series come as a separate installer.
Flux VS3 Users must update to the Flux VS3 package for Pyramix 10 in order to use them along with Pyramix v10.1 .
This has to be done from the new Flux Center application by going under the Flux Center settings and selecting VS3 - Pyramix 10

INSTALLATION:
WARNING: VCube v6.1 requires v6 Keys
WARNING: VCube v6.1 is only supported under Windows 7- 64bit OS. Windows 32bit OS is no longer supported as of v6.0
WARNING: The VCube users running on 32bit OS with Mykerinos will have to remain on VCube v5.1, since Mykerinos is not supported under 64bit OS. Please consult your options as per the VCube configuration page

- Render video to H264 requires the “VSO-H264-ENC” Key option
- Merging recommends that users remove the previous version of VCube installed on their system prior to installing VCube v6.1
- You might be warned of pending requirements at installation please proceed and install accordingly if so
- For the Blackmagic design Video Cards installation please follow the VCube release notes
- The VCube configuration is configured through the VS3 Control Panel
- Users with Pyramix and VCube installed on the same system, it is mandatory that you upgrade your Pyramix to v10.1.4 HotFix to go along side VCube v6.1.4 HotFix. Merging highly recommends that you consider the new Video playback support included in Pyramix v10.1 before installing VCube, it might do just what you need.
- HASP dongles are not supported under 64bit, users must purchase a SafeNet dongle in such case
- VCube v6.1 is not supported on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10
