The Merging Technologies Development Team is pleased to announce the HotFix release of Pyramix 9.1.10 build 28379, VCube 5.1.10 build 28379 and Ovation 5.1.10 build 28379.
The Pyramix 9.1.10 HotFix version contains only the following fixes
HotFix Bugs resolved:
MT6535: Fixed. VS3 plugins automation not working in non-real time Mixdown
MT6539: Fixed. Mixer: VS3 presets loading does not update Delay Compensation (use latest Flux VS3 official version)
MT6505: Fixed. True Peak Limiter of Pyramix Mixdown Loudness Normalizer can cause clicks
MT6029: Fixed. SACD Disc Builder : some dll were not registered
MT6543/GAIA-315: crash with some Chinese characters file
SUP-8: Fixed. After Mixdown with destination tracks set, Generate CD Image and SACD CM Wizard have their mixdown files placed on destination tracks
SUP-12: Fixed: Album Publishing creates noise in DSF files with beyond the 4GB limit
GAIA-454: Fixed. Pyramix random crash when switching from one ADR loop to another

INSTALLATION:
WARNING: Pyramix v9.1 is supported under Windows 7 but not under Windows 8/8.1/10
[color=#BF0000]WARNING: The Pyramix v9.1 requires that you have Pyramix v9 keys, make sure of that prior to installing this version.
WARNING: The Pyramix installer comes in two versions. A 32bit installer version for 32 bit OS and a 64bit installer version for 64bit OS. Make sure that you download and install the proper version.
WARNING: Users currently running in MassCore on a Core2Duo should NOT update to Pyramix v9/v9.1 Refer to Pyramix v9 installation Guide for recommended configurations
- Prior to installing Pyramix v9.1 we recommend that you read the release notes known issue to make sure that this version suits your workflow
- Users that have a Pyramix version already installed should remove their Pyramix version before installing v9.1. See the Release Notes and Installation Guide for more details.
- MassCore 64bit: Note that in order to run Pyramix v9/v9.1 MassCore under 64bit you will need a RTX64 Activation Key along with a MassCore 64-bit key.
- The MassCore/RTX versions used along Pyramix v9.1 are the same as Pyramix v9.0 was needing, so if you come from v9.0 no need to remove the currently installed RTX version that came with v9.0
- HASP dongles are not supported under 64bit, users must purchase a SafeNet dongle in such case
- At the Pyramix v9.1 install you might have a “Bonjour” pending and other Microsoft requirements. Please proceed with those installations and afterwards the Pyramix installer will start. Once Pyramix is installed it is Mandatory that you reboot your system.
- Users that need to run Pyramix and VCube on the same system configuration will have to install the VCube 5.1.10

- Important: If using the new Cover Art Album Publishing option within a v9.1.5 to v9.1.10 project a Save Special As 9.0 should be performed in order to open that project in a v9.1.4 or v9.0.
- Pyramix 9.1 projects are not compatible with Pyramix v9.0 or v8.1 in order to open such projects in an older Pyramix version please make sure that you perform the proper Save Special. A new Save Special as v9.0 is available in the list.

- Merging recommends that users remove the previous version of VCube installed on their system prior to installing VCube 5.1
- You might be warned of pending requirements at installation please proceed and install accordingly if so
- For the Blackmagic design Video Cards installation please follow the VCube release notes
- QuickTime is no longer required nor installed along VCube
- Virtual Transport is now within the VCube’s application and transparent to the users. Though a firewall warning message might appear at the first launch of VCube, please accept it if so.
- The VCube configuration mode must now be setup through the VS3 Control Panel
- Users with Pyramix and VCube installed on the same system, it is mandatory that you upgrade your Pyramix to v9.1.10 release to go along side VCube v5.1.10
- The VCube Packs have been redefined in v5, implicates Key changes for .MOV DNxHD users, contact you nearest sales office for more details
- Mykerinos users must be aware that those cards are not supported under 64bit
- HASP dongles are not supported under 64bit, users must purchase a SafeNet dongle in such case
Compressed Audio File Formats:
- DirectShow technology support (MP3, WMA, AAC, ..) some additional 3rd party codecs might be needed. For SRC proper support, we recommend that users install the codec packs available here if they haven’t done so already.

RAVENNA Driver for ASIO (PC) and Core Audio (MAC):
Those RAVENNA Drivers will allow the running of RAVENNA in ASIO (PC Windows) or Core Audio (MAC) with your Merging Technologies Horus converter. Users installing the Ravenna ASIO driver should remove their previous installed version under the Windows Programs.

This new Ovation 5.1 release version includes improvements and bug fixes. Note that the Ovation 5.1.10 version is in sync with the Pyramix v9.1.10 release.

INSTALLATION:
WARNING: Ovation v5.1 is supported under Windows 7 but not under Windows 8/8.1/10
[color=#BF0000]WARNING: The Ovation v5.1 requires that you have Ovation v5 keys, make sure of that prior to installing this version.
WARNING: The Ovation installer now comes in two versions. A 32bit installer version for 32 bit OS and a 64bit installer version for 64bit OS. Make sure that you download and install the proper version
WARNING: Users currently running in MassCore on a Core2Duo should NOT update to Ovation v5.
- Users that have an Ovation version already installed should remove their Ovation version before installing v5.1. See the Release Notes and Installation Guide for more details.
- MassCore user running the RTX version installed with Ovation v4.1 or v5.0 on a 32bit OS do NOT need to un-install MassCore (32bit), since Ovation v5.1 uses the same MassCore/RTX version.
- MassCore 64bit: Note that in order to run Ovation v5/v5.1 MassCore under 64bit you will need a RTX64 Activation Key along with a MassCore 64-bit key.
- At the Ovation v5.1 install you might have a “Bonjour” pending and other Microsoft requirements. Please proceed with those installations and afterwards the Pyramix installer will start. Once Pyramix is installed it is Mandatory that you reboot your system.

INSTALLATION:
WARNING: The VCube v5.1 requires that you have VCube v5 keys, make sure of that prior to installing this version.
WARNING: The VCube installer comes in two versions. A 32bit installer version for 32 bit OS and a 64bit installer version for 64bit OS. Make sure that you download and install the proper version
- Prior to installing VCube v5.1 we recommend that you read the release notes known issue to make sure that this version suits your workflow
- Merging recommends that users remove the previous version of VCube installed on their system prior to installing VCube 5.1
- You might be warned of pending requirements at installation please proceed and install accordingly if so
- For the Blackmagic design Video Cards installation please follow the VCube release notes
- QuickTime is no longer required nor installed along VCube
- Virtual Transport is now within the VCube’s application and transparent to the users. Though a firewall warning message might appear at the first launch of VCube, please accept it if so.
- The VCube configuration mode must now be setup through the VS3 Control Panel
- Users with Pyramix and VCube installed on the same system, it is mandatory that you upgrade your Pyramix to v9.1.10 release to go along side VCube v5.1.10
- The VCube Packs have been redefined in v5, implicates Key changes for .MOV DNxHD users, contact you nearest sales office for more details
- Mykerinos users must be aware that those cards are not supported under 64bit
- HASP dongles are not supported under 64bit, users must purchase a SafeNet dongle in such case
Compressed Audio File Formats:
- DirectShow technology support (MP3, WMA, AAC, ..) some additional 3rd party codecs might be needed. For SRC proper support, we recommend that users install the codec packs available here if they haven’t done so already.
