I'm just wondering if it worth testing Ovation 6 on a old Merging PCTRAWXP chassis (Q6600 Quad Core @2.4GHz - 4Go Ram) or if it will be too slow ? Of course I would upgrade to seven 64bits.

I've been using a similar system (same CPU and RAM / 32 bit) with Pyramix for several years and it still works just fine, even if it isn't as fast as newer computers. This includes DSD, DXD, video and heavy use of Algorithmix Renovator. It certainly won't hurt for testing and of course, it all depends on how much you want the CPU to do simultaneously.
