New Ethernet IPMIDI for SSL HUI can freeze Pyramix

Postby David Jacques » Fri Apr 30, 2010 14:10

When attaching SSL HUI whith new Ethernet IPMIDI protocol, Pyramix can freeze., and it was works fine with midi cables.

Resolution: The IPMIDI loopback function is causing the freeze, you have to disable it. Right click on the IPMidi Icon on windows task bar to access this setting.

Hi David,

I did spot another behaviour when using ipMIDI in HUI to enable an SSL as a controler. MIDI port 4 on the ipMIDI mutes itself after some time. To regain control again, you have to reboot after unmuting the port 4. Don´t know if it´s an SSL issue too, but is certainly no Pyramix fault.
Best regards,

Paulo M
