Pyramix button icons?

Is there a way to assign icons to desktop buttons which do not automatically have them assigned? I have several buttons I've added to the desktop which are simply grey squares. They work - but it gets confusing on occasion keeping them straight.

It depends on which version of Windows you're using. Here's a link to instructions for Win8 - http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/windo ... 8-3507036/

For any other OS, Google is your friend...

Hi Frank, thanks and my apologies - I did not mean to refer to the windows desktop but the pyramix desktop (EDL) A bunch of the menu commands I've mapped to buttons within pyramix need iconography.

Oh, those ones - yes, I agree it would be nice if someone not otherwise engaged with squishing program bugs could be diverted to fleshing out the graphics for all the sundry "button-able" functions. At the same time, it's understandably a low priority.

You can turn on the tooltips-like function that will display the button's function if you hover your cursor over it for a while, but it's not really that satisfying, is it.
