The AVis that didn't work

Postby Blame monkey » Wed Mar 29, 2006 12:10

Hi there!
Had a few AVi files from a client yesterday for using on VCube in a session.
They originated from an application called Flash Animator.
The codec used to create the AVi files was WRAW.
VCube couldn't play the files and the session was delayed whilst converting the files through QuickTime Pro.
Is there any possibilty of getting this codec applied to VCube?
Are there any plans to implement a quick way of applying codecs to the VCube in future?
We can email you the AVi files (30MB each) if you wish...
Thanks

Hi Blame Monkey,

The Flash software you use can export a sequence of still images (.bmp) that currently can be managed by VCube.
You can drop the selected pictures from the Windows browser in the VCube's video track in the Timline, preserving the alpha channel, http://vcube.merging.com/Pages/Help/Set ... oject.html or use the still image import dialog (Ctrl + I) creating a video sequence without alpha channel. http://vcube.merging.com/Pages/Help/Imp ... uence.html

Best regards,

Laurent

This codec will be supported in a future VCube version.
