Apple just announced their new line of laptops supporting Thunderbolt:

Lest I get accused of being a Machead (true), it's a cross platform technology from Intel. This could be an important step for providing MADI and offboard DSP features to laptop users.

Yep, good to keep an eye on this 'Thunderbolt' i/f...looks promising!

Those new MacBook Pro laptops have me salivating, big time...
