MT Security Missing V9 install

Postby RickTarrant » Sat Sep 06, 2014 01:02

Perhaps Friday afternoon isn't the best time to attempt a software upgrade.

Hopefully one you fine PMX users will be perusing the forum this weekend.

As stated, I am trying to install V9 from V8

After I install the software there is no MT Security in the Control Panel and thus no way to import the new keys.

When I try double clicking on the security keys - there is no appropriate program to recognize it.
When I try launching PMX - the error "The service MTSSrv isn't started in time" appears.

This is particularily odd since I had installed an earlier version of 9 a few weeks ago and it launched fine. I decided to go back to 8 until a few more issues were resolved.

Any thoughts - advice - solutions???

Thanks

Rick

Rick

Are you moving from 32bit to 64bit? Different keys are required for that.

Thank you Sir!

You are a true gentleman. :D

I had already switched to 64bit - but for some reason I was trying to install the 32bit version.

V 9.0.9 is up and running. Now if I can figure out where my audio output went to I will be back in the saddle.

Thanks again, Larry.

Its amazing how reconnecting ASIO4ALL to my audio interface makes the music happen.
All is well and its still Friday.

Cheers!
