No one seems to be able to give me any idea of the cost! In the meanitime can anyone give any hints to get Sequoia working ...

Sony 7000 series Dat machines and 9 pin!

Does anyone else use Sony 7000 series dat Machines with Pyramix Machine Control? I cannot get either a 7030 or 7050 to locate a specific timecode either from the Machines contol section of a project or when a Capture is evoked in a digitizing session. The Dat Machine simply sits there stationary rat...

Gunthar Thanks for you reply. Would you belive I have traced the problem to a corrupt template which I use for virtualy all my work! It's a weird one as I had no problems doing mixdowns without Automation enabled! Perhaps the Template was created in a old version of Pyramix that was not compatible. ...

System stall on Mixdown

I have had a ongoing problem with all versions of 4.3. Doing any kind of mixdown, including the creation of a CD file if you have any kind of mix automation enable the system freezes and then crashes as the session "deactivates". This is not a problem if no automation is used. The new mixed down sou...

Sonic Solutions had this facility from its earliest release and it was a fantasticly useful tool. It makes you realise how they got in right in their early days. As a Pyramix convert It's the one thing I would really like to see implemented. Its a shame that even a non real time mix will not give yo...

Deleting Tracks

Roland. Thank you but I don't think I made myself clear. your solution will of course delete any reference to a track within a edl but I am talking about physical destoying those unwanted tracks on the source sound file to reclaim disk space.

Best wishes
Stephen

Deleting unwanted tracks

Can anyone tell me the most efficient way to delete unwanted tracks subsequent to a recording? I have a recording comprising 24 tracks the last 4 of which contain material that will never be needed. In effect just taking up disk space on a sound file lasting over 90 minutes. Is there a simple way of...

Sony 9 pin Sync

Merging seem to make much of the enhanced sync facilities in 4.3. Using the 9 pin port can someone explain to me why I cannot do a timecode sync using a sony 7000 series DAT machine without plugging up LTC timecode in addition? Why can't Timecode be passed though the 9 pin port ? Something our 12 ye...

We had to do a Hard disk format and complete re install of windows. Previously Pyramix and all its components was working fine. Clip store

Is there. Or could there be a facility similar to The Clipstore on Sadie or Cue store on Sonic Solutions. I appreciate that references can be stored in Document libaries but this does not seem to show things such as a clip name. This is very useful if a Sound file had been split into takes and you w...
