Undo save changes? Bug in 4.2.6

I think I may have discovered a little bug here -- in 4.2.6, when you go to simply close a project, Pyramix doesn't always warn you with the "Save Changes?" dialog, even if you have made changes to the EDL since the last save. I haven't tried all the possibilities, but it seems that if you open a pr...

Graphics adapters:
Matrox G400 dual head
Nvidia 3D Force 4 MX440Twin

As I mentioned, no real difference at all with base sample rates, only at double sample rates (which accounts for about 85% of my work).

Thanks

Win 2k vs. Win XP

I haven't noticed much, if anything, on the forum with respect to comparing Pyramix behavior (ver 4.1.21) on these different OS's. While I haven't seen an enormous difference working at normal sample rates, I have been experiencing a much higher incidence of playback glitches on XP when working at 8...

Re: mixer too big for monitor

In case anyone has a similar dilemma with 4.0, the solution I found is to temporarily disable Dual Head Display, re-start Windows, re-open the project & configure the large mixer. Even then I had to uncheck the Configure setting temporarily. Once the mixer splits, you can save the project - as well ...

Re: Mixer too big for monitor

I must have a Matrox dual-head setting set incorrectly? Here's the setup: Two monitors: main monitor, Viewsonic VG191, res. is 1280 X 1024. Secondary monitor, an old Sony 200ES (CRT), also 1280 X 1024. In the Matrox G450 Dual Head properties, Dual Head multi-display is enabled & active. Dual Hea...

Mixer too big for monitor

Have any 4.0 users figured out a method of splitting the mixer into two horizontally layered (one above the other) sections? With a 24-channel setup + a couple of aux sends, monitor mix & stereo mix, I can't see the entire mixer - even with screen res. at maximum on a 19" monitor. Thanks in adva...

Disappearing Markers

Has anyone had this problem? On at least two occasions, I have returned to a workspace to find all of my markers - both CD markers and edit markers - to have disappeared. The first time it happened, I was able to close the project & reopen it from a recently saved version (saved about a minute e...
