Sounds like a question for Apple, doesn't it.

Yes, I seem to remember that you have to de-select "No Selection" somewhere... - what an odd thing to have to de-select.

Mac Mighty Mouse Questions

Further to my inquiries in other threads, detailing my adventures getting Pyramix working under a BootCamp'd Windows XP installation on a new iMac (whew!)... It seems that I have some problems with using the new Mac's "Mighty Mouse", especially when engaged with Source-Destination editing....

Thanks everyone for the excellent tips on how to get up and running with editing. I think that some of the difficulties I'm experiencing stem from the fact that I'm running Windows on an Intel Mac, with a Mac keyboard. There are subtle differences in the layout and key availability, and I need to in...

Thanks Greamme, I'll try those things you mentioned. However, I'm still having a problem with the basic concept behind Source/Destination editing. The only way I've been able to transfer material from a Source track (or pair of tracks) is to highlight it, copy it and then Paste it into the Destinati...

Thanks that helped a lot. I'm still having problems with the gates. In the destination tracks, after I've placed a segment of audio, the new "In" gate doesn't automatically place itself at the end of segment (clip?), so that it is ready for the next bit to be brought in, rippled into place...

Assembly Editing Tutorial?

I've been picking away at learning Pyramix for a couple of months now, and I find the Media Management a bit cumbersome, but I can manage. What is causing me problems is trying to figure out how to use the Source/Destination Editing. This is the major reason I purchased this program, and I just can'...

Follow-up: I forgot to mention that my system is an Apple iMac with a dual core Intel processor, running Windows XP SP2 under Boot Camp, on a 32 Gig partition on the internal hard drive (for FAT32 formatting that the Mac side of this split personality can read).

So I managed to get Pyramix to recognize the ASIO qualities of the Fireface, through the clever means of de-installing the Fireface drivers, and then re-installing them. So I'm now at the latest/greatest point, running Pyramix 5.0.22.89 with Fireface 800 drivers (no TimeCode option installed) 2.58.0...

Hi there, There is a control panel called 'VS3 Settings'. Open this and make sure that ASIO is set as the preferred method instead of Direct-X. Choose the 'Native audio ASIO' tab and then your RME ASIO driver in the drop down window. From there, you'll see some parameters to change (re: ASIO) in th...

Hello, To me a MAC intel machine running Windows XP is a normal PC. I don´t know the FF800, but after installing the ASIO driver you should have a configuration RME FF800 located in the control panel, there you shuold route anything inside the interface within its hardware limits of course. To impo...

Total Newbie Questions - Help!

Running Pyramix Native on an Apple Intel iMac running Windows XP under Bootcamp, with an RME Fireface 800 interface. Although the audio output plays out the headphone output from the Fireface, I'm having real difficulty finding how to route the various inputs from the Fireface to the various tracks ...
