Well, in a way, you can.
It is not so called clip based automation. But you can use the snapshot automation and apply a plug to the selction, without overwriting former automation settings.

And you can go back any time to change it cause it is not rendered.

Hello Nick,

I've had this "key" problem with some beta versions. With which Pyramix version are you working with?

Hello Nick,

Unfortunately, what you describe never has been solved. You can properly do auto silence removal only on one track.
On a multitrack it doesn't behave consistently.

Kind regards

Hello, You have another workaround... When opening the project, you simply click on cancel when it mounts the files. Once your project is open you will have most of the clips in the edl with the Yellow and black bars (no media mounted) Select all (CTRL+A) and under project menu, mount referenced med...

Hi Steve,

As another trick... you can double click on the cd marker tab window so that you have it as a pop up window next or below your time line, which helps to navigate and have a quick access.

Hi Graemme,

The cursor moves indeed in all the groups when you move it in one group and all the groups have keep cursor switched on.
But when you click back to another group, the play cursor jumps back to its earlier position.

Hello,

Even easier, create a track group for all you non trim editor group, enable keep cursor and disable all the other ones (track mute/solo etc) so that each track reacts individually while beeing in a track group.

Hello, Unfortunately, i don't know how wavefrane handles Betacam. Pyramix via machine control handles perfectly 1 external device (betacam). Use the RS232 port on your PC. You have to add a RS 232 - 422 converter or a USB to 422 adapter. With all the chase to sony 9 pin and import/export to tape aut...
