Re: HP Z820 (16-core) compatibilty with Pyramix Ravenna/Mass

There is a recommended motherboard list, it may be wise to follow those recommendations Which is exactly why I'm asking the question in the first place. Can you tell where I can access the most recent list from? EDIT: The following resource, 'Pyramix Compatibility and Upgrade Information as of Augu...

Re: HP Z820 (16-core) compatibilty with Pyramix Ravenna/Mass

In relation to the above question, will an Pyramix/Masscore based HP Z820 workstation system perform better utilising full-buffered, buffered, or unbuffered, RAM?

Many thanks in advance

HP Z820 (16-core) compatibilty with Pyramix Ravenna/MassCore

Hi,

Out of interest can anyone from Merging inform me whether the 16-core HP Z820 range of computers are suitable/recommended for use with Pyramix Native (64 bit) and future 64 bit Multi-Masscore versions of Pyramix Ravenna/Multi-MassCore?

Many thanks in advance,

Re: REWIRE & ASIO BRIDGE in PMX 7

Florain, In ASIO bridge mode, Cubase is able to be synchronized in MTC or LTC. Soon without any cable... It calls AppleMidi and is supported by Pyramix 8 and Horus. Can you point me in the direction of any further information (link?) on 'AppleMidi' and how it actually works? Also, is there an ETA fo...

MYK-X30 : PCIe endpoint device or PCIe-to PCI bridge device?

Hi, can someone from Pyramix please confirm with me whether the Mykerinos MYK-X30 is a true PCIe endpoint device or an PCIe-to PCI bridge device? If indeed it is an PCIe-to PCI bridge device, could this be the reason why it does not operate successfully with the Intel 5000x chipset? Other bridge dev...

Vista 64-bit EuCon support

Hi,
I'm not sure whether this is a Pyramix or Euphonix related issue but I'll ask anyway, would I be correct in thinking that there is currently no 64-bit support for EuCon?

Dell Precision 690 or similar workstation info request...

Hi, is anyone using running Pyramix on Dell P690 workstations? Is it a good solution to use with Pyramix especially the Mykerinos MYK-X30 DSP cards? Is there an alternative to the P690 anyone may be able to recommend? I ask as I am looking for an possible alternative to Merging's own workstation sol...
