Re: Do you need an ADR toolkit for take comping?

I would like to record a few takes of seperate tracks and on the same place in the timeline. And i want to hear only one take at a time. It would be helpful if i could make cuts through all the tracks and solo and mute automation would automatically follow the bits i select.

Do you need an ADR toolkit for take comping?

Do you need an ADR toolkit for take comping?

I saw the video on youtube about the ADR toolkit and the combination of source tracks and a compilation track looks very timesaving for me. Could you make a compilation track with multiple takes without the ADR kit?

Cheers

Re: DSD analog mixer

I have no personal experience but Jared sacks from channel classics uses a sonodore mixer from rens heijnis. It is supposed to be really high end.
Purely on specs the ADT integrator stem mixing console is one to look at and listen to.

select tracks, key commands

Hi, I'm trying to setup a tipro keyboard for editing zooming transport etc. But I noticed that you could also use key commands for selecting, soloing muting etc. I'm trying to implement that but ran in a problem. actually more... First is i don't seem to be able to select more than one channel strip...

Re: Touchscreen window/browser control for PMX

Yes everything is small even for mouse/wacom. Luckily a lot of things are good to control with eucon or key commands but the touch experiënce is still awfull.

we'll see maybe in some time. But i'm not going to buy an s6 or even an s3 in the near future.

3DConnexion Mouse

I saw in the pyramix wiki that the 3DConnexion space navigator is supported for 3d panning. Would it also be possible to control other aspects of pyramix with it. IMHO it would be a killer Zoom/navigate device in the edit window. And even for knobs in a click and turn type of way.

Re: Touchscreen window/browser control for PMX

I guess a k&m ipad holder is the best for me then. I used a euphonix artist transport for a while, programmed it in different ways but never liked to use it. I'm not a wheel person i guess. For monitor control i have a hardware solution from Crookwood. The only reason i would buy a dock would be...

Re: Streacom Cases and Silent PC

I use a Haxx.eu silent case wich couples the processor with a copper cooling block rather than heatpipes. Its rather large but keeps my 3.4 i7 cool for about 15 minutes on full throttle punishment. But it's a bit of work to put together and not cheap.

Re: Touchscreen window/browser control for PMX

Hey that sounds like fun, i have no ipad but i'm going to loan one to check out!!

edit: i run two artist mix fader boxes so it probably works out of the box. And if it's nice i may not buy the cintiq but just the tipro edit keyboard.

Touchscreen window/browser control for PMX

A good portion for this technology seems already available in Ovation. It would be really nice to control fader, send levels, solo, mute, monitor control, transport and some much used buttons from a touchscreen. I tried using one with the normal mixer and it was not a pleasurable experience. I'm now...

Blackmagic cards

Well i know i'm asking quite soon but do you have any experience with slightly older Blackmagic cards. I'm looking for an older Decklink SDI wich does not have a cooling fan!! I did not invest in a fully passive cooled system to let the video i/o spoil the fun.... And i like to have analog and 4k in...
